Learn how to “Savvy Travel” using travel points and miles! Traveling with points and miles is no longer only for the corporate jet setter, it is for families too! It just takes a desire to learn and basic math skills, and your family will be off on their first amazing vacation using travel points and miles!
How do YOU make tickets to The San Francisco Explorer Pass® free for your family???
You would use a “Fixed Value” Point Card, meaning you need to meet the required spend on the card within the required time period, then the sign on bonus is credited directly to your credit card account!
You then just log into your credit card account and use those points to “delete/erase” (credit) those charges off of your credit card statement balance up to the value of the points in your account! Your “travel” purchase CAN be part of your required spend amount!
Fixed Value Point Travel Reward Cards: Some examples of points from these cards would be Venture miles & Arrival miles.
These are super easy and flexible points to use and are great to offset the cost of theme park admission, sightseeing tour tickets, and ski lift resort tickets!
To use the cards to get free or discounted theme park, sightseeing tour tickets, and/or ski resort lift tickets, you MUST USE the Fixed Value Point Travel Card to PURCHASE your theme park, sightseeing tour, and or/ski resort lift tickets from Undercover Tourist.
Undercover Tourist is set up as a Travel Agency so that when they bill your purchase of theme park, sightseeing tour, and/or ski resort lift tickets to your Fixed Value Point Travel Credit Card it will be coded on your credit card statement as “TRAVEL”, thus making it a TRAVEL PURCHASE that can be used as a qualifying travel purchase for you to use your Fixed Value Points to “delete/erase” (credit) those charges off of your statement balance up to the value of the points in your account!
***IMPORTANT! The theme park, sightseeing tour, and/or ski resort lift tickets MUST BE PURCHASED from Undercover Tourist AND they MUST be purchased with one of the Fixed Value Point Travel Cards in order to make this work!

How you can get free San Francisco Explorer Pass Tickets for your family:
Example: (What can be purchased with these fixed value reward miles):
–Venture Reward Miles
Example: Earn 50,000 Venture Miles by taking advantage of the travel card benefits
**My husband and I both took advantage of the travel rewards from the travel card and each were able to get $560.00 worth of FREE tickets to various tours and theme parks!
You can order up to $560 worth of tickets from Undercover Tourist = $560 – $560 (amount in Venture Miles points I used to offset the cost of the tickets).
Once we made our purchase of tickets from Undercover Tourist and also met the required spend on the card doing our usual grocery shopping etc., the travel bonus points were awarded in my credit card account and I just had to log into my Fixed Value card account and use the travel bonus points that were worth $560.00 (50,000 pts from meeting the required spend to earn the bonus and an additional 60 points ($60) from earning 2 points/$1 spent to meet the minimum spend).
Then, I used my husbands Fixed Value Card and ordered $500 worth of tickets with his card from Undercover Tourist, we met the required spend on the card doing our usual grocery shopping etc., and then did the same process as above so that we had enough tickets for our family of four!
