Theme park, Tour, & Ski tickets

Did you ever imagine you could get FREE or GREATLY REDUCED Theme Park, Sightseeing Tour, and/or Ski Resort Lift tickets?

Well you can!!!  🙂

Check this out…

We were able to get FREE tickets to ALL of the following for our family of four for a San Diego trip:

-SeaWorld San Diego
-LEGOLAND
-Old Town Trolley Tour – San Diego (a fun, musical, interactive live trolley tour through San Diego & Coronado Island!)  A Family Favorite! 🙂
-San Diego SEAL Tour (amphibious land and sea tour around the San Diego Harbor)

SeaWorld® San Diego

We were also able to get GREATLY REDUCED tickets (we saved $920!) to:

Walt Disney World Magic Kingdom Four-theme Park, 4-Day (plus 2 Days free) Tickets in Orlando, Florida!  (includes:  Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney’s Wild Animal Park, and Disney Hollywood Studios Florida!)

YOU could get FREE or GREATLY REDUCED Ski lift tickets (depending on how many days you want the tickets for) to:

Various Ski Resorts!  The resorts include:  Heavenly in California, Northstar in California, Kirkwood in California, Squaw Valley Alpine Meadows in California, Aspen Snowmass in Colorado, Beaver Creek in Colorado, Breckenridge in Colorado, Keystone in Colorado, Vail in Colorado, Steamboat in Colorado, and Park City in Utah!

How do YOU do this???

You would use a “Fixed Value” Point Card, meaning you need to meet the required spend on the card within the required time period, then the sign on bonus is credited directly to your credit card account.

You then just log into your credit card account and use those points to “delete/erase” (credit) those charges off of your credit card statement balance up to the value of the points in your account!  Your “travel” purchase CAN be part of your required spend amount!

Fixed Value Point Travel Reward Cards:  Some examples of points from these cards would be Venture miles & Arrival miles.

These are super easy and flexible points to use and are great to offset the cost of theme park admission, sightseeing tour tickets, and ski lift resort tickets!

To use the cards to get free or discounted theme park, sightseeing tour tickets, and/or ski resort lift tickets, you MUST USE the Fixed Value Point Travel Card to PURCHASE your theme park, sightseeing tour, and or/ski resort lift tickets from Undercover Tourist.

Undercover Tourist

Undercover Tourist is set up as a Travel Agency so that when they bill your purchase of theme park, sightseeing tour, and/or ski resort lift tickets to your Fixed Value Point Travel Credit Card it will be coded on your credit card statement as TRAVEL, thus making it a TRAVEL PURCHASE that can be used as a qualifying travel purchase for you to use your Fixed Value Points to “delete/erase” (credit) those charges off of your statement balance up to the value of the points in your account!

***IMPORTANT!  The theme park, sightseeing tour, and/or ski resort lift tickets MUST BE PURCHASED from Undercover Tourist AND they MUST be purchased with one of the Fixed Value Point Travel Cards in order to make this work!

San Diego Area Theme Park & Tour tickets

Example #1: (What we purchased with these fixed value reward miles):

Venture Reward Miles
Example:  Earn 50,000 Venture Miles by taking advantage of the travel card benefits

**My husband and I both took advantage of the travel rewards from the travel card and together were able to purchase tickets to all of the following for our family of four:

Seaworld San Diego
LEGOLAND
Old Town Trolley Tour – San Diego
San Diego SEAL Tour

I purchased the following with my card:

$69.99 (Qty 1) – Seaworld Adult ticket

$69.99 (Qty 1) – Seaworld Child ticket

$103.95 (Qty 1) – LEGOLAND California Resort Hopper + 2nd Day FREE! Adult ticket

$97.95 (Qty 1) – LEGOLAND California Resort Hopper + 2nd Day FREE! Child ticket

$34.95 (Qty 1) – Old Town Trolley Tour Adult ticket

$16.10 (Qty 1) – Old Town Trolley Tour child ticket

$34.95 (Qty 1) – San Diego SEAL Tour Adult ticket

$16.10 (Qty 1) – San Diego SEAL Tour child ticket

Total for above tickets = $443.98 – $443.98 (amount in Venture Miles points I used to offset the cost of the tickets).  I actually earned $560 worth of points so I had $116.02 in points leftover to use on another travel purchase! (Examples of other travel purchases that this could be used for:   Our hotel daily resort fees and/or Hotel taxes or food purchases that we billed to our hotel room or car rental fees)

Once we made our purchase of tickets from Undercover Tourist and also met the required spend on the card doing our usual grocery shopping etc., the travel bonus points were awarded in my credit card account and I just had to log into my Fixed Value card account and use the travel bonus points that were worth $560.00 (50,000 pts from meeting the required spend to earn the bonus and an additional 60 points ($60) from earning 2 points/$1 spent to meet the minimum spend).

Then, I used Mike’s Fixed Value Card and ordered the same tickets with his card from Undercover Tourist, we met the required spend on the card doing our usual grocery shopping etc., and then did the same process as above so that we had enough tickets for our family of four!

Walt Disney World tickets

Example #2: (What we purchased with these fixed value reward miles):

-Arrival Reward Miles
Example:  Earn 40,000 Arrival Miles by taking advantage of the travel card benefits

**My husband and I both took advantage of the travel rewards from the travel card and together were able to purchase the following tickets for our family:

(Qty 4) 4-Day Magic Your Way – w/ 2 extra days free – Four theme park (E-ticket) to Walt Disney World, Orlando, Florida

The tickets totalled $1,535.86 and we used the bonus to deduct $920 from the ticket total, so we only had to pay $615.86 for all four tickets on our trip to Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida!

This is how YOU can do it:

Spouse #1 Fixed Value Travel Card:

Ordered from Undercover Tourist (Qty 1) 4-Day Magic Your Way Ticket – with 2 Extra Days free -Four theme Park (E-ticket) – Adult for $394.35 AND order (Qty 1) 4-Day Magic Your Way Ticket – with 2 Extra Days free – Four theme Park (E-ticket) – Child for $373.58 for a Total of = $767.93.

Once you meet the required spend on the card (doing your normal grocery shopping, etc), the travel bonus points will be awarded in your credit card account and you just need to log into your Arrival Miles Travel card account and use the travel points that are worth $460.00 (40,000 pts from meeting the required spend to earn the bonus and an additional 60 points ($60) from earning 2 points/$1 spent to meet the minimum spend).  So $767.93 – $460.00 = $307.93 is what you would spend for one adult ticket and one child ticket!

(then repeat the same process above with the card in spouse’s name in order to purchase the other two tickets you need for a family of four)

Ski Resort Lift Tickets

Example #3:  (How you can purchase ski resort lift tickets with one of these cards):

Venture Reward Miles
Example:  Earn 50,000 Venture Miles by taking advantage of the travel card benefits

Purchase up to $560 worth of ski resort lift tickets from Undercover Tourist and make sure you use your Fixed Value Venture Miles Travel Card to pay for them!

Once you have made your purchase of tickets from Undercover Tourist and have also met the required spend on the card doing your usual grocery shopping etc., the travel bonus points will be awarded into your credit card account and then you just need to log into your Venture Miles Fixed Value Travel Card account and use the travel bonus points that are worth $560.00 (50,000 pts from meeting the required spend to earn the bonus and an additional 60 points ($60) from earning 2 points/$1 spent to meet the minimum spend).

(you can repeat the same process above with the card in spouse’s name in order to purchase any additional tickets you need)

The same process works for the Fixed Value Arrival Miles Fixed Value Travel Card

***So In Summary Make sure:

#1  Order your tickets from Undercover Tourist because they are considered a travel agency, and the tickets will be coded as a travel purchase to your flexible travel redemption credit card when billed, and that is the only way you will be able to use the points in your card account to “delete/erase” (credit) the travel purchase off your card statement.

#2  Have your ticket order from Undercover Tourist billed to one (or spread out over a couple), of the above flexible travel redemption credit cards.

Note:  Undercover Tourist sells tickets for several different theme parks, tours, etc. for Orlando, San Diego, Los Angeles, Washington D.C., Park City, Vail, Breckenridge, and others so check out all the tickets they have available to see where you would like to go.  Any purchase of their tickets will work according to the above examples using one of the flexible fixed value travel cards 🙂
